Hidden among ancient cork oaks and silent granite formations, this retreat invites you into a space of deep grounding, quiet reflection, and reconnection.

Rooted is a journey back to presence — through stillness, nature, and the body. We slow down. We listen. We remember what holds us.

You’ll spend five nights in the wild heart of northern Sardinia, where time stretches and the land speaks in soft, grounding rhythms. Through daily meditation, mindful movement, and conscious coaching, you’ll gently return to yourself — rooted, present, and clear.

This is not a retreat of performance or pressure. It’s a sanctuary for being. For softening. For meeting yourself beneath the noise.

A Journey in Six Days

The retreat spans 6 days and follows a gentle arc of inner movement:
Arrival – Grounding – Listening – Opening – Integration.
We begin in stillness and close in clarity.
One evening will include soft movement or dance. The rest unfolds naturally — with space to be.

For whom

This retreat is for those who long to slow down and listen again.
You do not need any prior meditation experience — only a willingness to meet yourself more honestly, in the embrace of nature.

📍 LU MOCU Northern Sardinia – secluded countryside in the region of Gallura
🗓 5 nights / 6 days 2.-7.09.2025
🍃 Vegetarian meals, optional 1:1 coaching or bodywork
🚘 Arrival by car or transfer from Olbia

Daily Rhythm

08:00 – Morning Meditation
Guided or silent, welcoming the day with breath and presence.


09:00 – Breakfast


10:30 – Morning Practice
Gentle or Yin Yoga, breathwork, mindful movement, or walking meditations in nature.


12:30 – Free Time
space to rest, reflect, or wander.


13:30 – Lunch
Light and local, supporting clarity and grounding.


15:00 – Conscious Circle / Coaching Inquiry
Gentle group sessions with themes like grounding, self-connection, conscious choice.


16:30 – Integration Time
Swim, rest, journal, optional 1:1 sessions, massages.


19:30 – Dinner
3 courses prepared with love.

Evening (open space)

  • One closing circle on the final evening

  • One evening with gentle dance & music

  • Other evenings: silence, rest, stargazing, tea, conversation

The Retreat Venue

A Place to Land, to Breathe, to Simply Be

The retreat takes place in a beautifully restored traditional Stazzu – a historic stone farmhouse typical of Gallura, now thoughtfully expanded and redesigned. Surrounded by granite rocks and ancient oaks, the house features multiple terraces and peaceful outdoor spots, perfect for stillness, reflection, or quiet connection.

You’ll be warmly hosted by Bernd from Love is the Answer, who will take care of your nourishment and comfort throughout the retreat.

Our retreat venue consists of two houses: a guesthouse and a main house, each with its own unique charm and shared communal spaces.

Guesthouse
– 2 twin bedrooms (15–16 m² each)
– 1 bathroom + extra washroom
– Spacious kitchen, outdoor kitchen & 4 terraces
→ Ideal for 4 guests

Main House
– 3 bedrooms:
 • 2 with double beds (also bookable as singles)
 • 1 large twin room (19 m²)
– 2 shared bathrooms
→ Quiet and grounding, with direct nature access

We offer 3 types of accommodation (all options include all meals, practices, and full participation in the retreat):

Shared Double Room
For those who enjoy a sense of community, we offer shared rooms with two separate beds and plenty of space.
You’ll share the room with one other participant (you can come together or we’ll match you gently).

Private Single Room
If you prefer privacy, a limited number of single rooms are available.
Enjoy your own quiet space while being part of the shared experience.
Includes all meals, practices, and full participation in the retreat.

Your Own Caravan or Van
Prefer to bring your own little home on wheels? We have space for a few self-contained camper vans.
This option includes:

  • Full access to the retreat program

  • Caravan spot (5 nights) in a peaceful, natural setting

  • Shared outdoor shower and compost toilet

  • 3 nourishing vegetarian meals per day (breakfast, light lunch & dinner)

FAQ

Where does the retreat take place?
The retreat takes place in a peaceful, remote area of northern Sardinia (Gallura), surrounded by ancient granite formations and cork oak trees. The building is 
It’s a simple, quiet place — close to nature and far from distraction.


How do I get there?
The closest airport is Olbia (OLB). From there, you can either rent a car or book a transfer with us (depending on group size and timing).
We will help coordinate shared rides if possible.


What language is the retreat held in?
The retreat is held in English.


Do I need meditation or yoga experience?
No. All practices are guided and accessible. You are welcome exactly as you are — with or without prior experience.


How many participants will there be?
This is a small, intimate retreat with 8–12 participants, to ensure personal space and a sense of connection.


What should I bring?
You’ll receive a detailed packing list after registration.
In general:

  • Comfortable clothes for practice and nature

  • Layers (mornings/evenings can be cool)

  • Notebook & pen

  • A curious, open heart


Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes. You are welcome to join alone or with someone. All group practices will invite both personal space and connection.


Can I have a private room?
Yes, a limited number of single rooms are available. Please request early if needed.


Can I bring my own camper and stay there?
Yes, the property has 4 camper spots each with water and electricity supply.


Can I arrive earlier or stay longer?
There are different options to arrive earlier or extend your stay either in Lu Mocu or in a luxurious Villa with amazing sea view near by also owned by our amazing host Bernd. Just talk with us about the options.


Will there be Wi-Fi?
Minimal. This is intentional.
We invite you to unplug during these days.

That shift — from vulnerability to combat — feels safer. But it’s not.The fight keeps you in contact. A guest story about what happened after attaining my retreat.
And it confirms so much why i love what i do:She came for a weeklong retreat.
Yoga. Meditation. Sardinia.
That’s all she had planned.What she didn’t plan — what nobody ever really plans — is what happens when you give yourself a few days of inner work and a profound reset. When the noise drops away and the island does what Sardinia does: it strips things back. The light, the silence, the sea, the land. Things just become clearer here.I always teach a theme in a retreat that goes beyond the physical practice- i don’t remember anymore which one it was exactly, but by the end of the weekend, something in her had shifted. She felt more open, spacious and ready to invite somebody new into her life.And when she came back home she met someone. A man that she totally fell in love with, her perfect match.When they decided to get married, she knew exactly where. In the place where it all began, the island that opened her up for this new love.
So she came back to Sardinia, this time not alone.I was honored to photograph their beautiful wedding.And standing there, camera in hand, I deeply felt touched to witness what’s possible, after only one week of a retreat.This is not only a love story about finding the right person.
